The flexing of military muscle will only give ammunition to those who want to portray China as a threat. I have read enough on the net abt "communist China's plan to take over the world". The show of force reinforces this perception.

據說，中國那些「最新武器」如核潛艇之類，其實唔選係好TOP，當然好過無啦
甚麼軍備先進，有能力.....我思疑中國最強戰機都唔夠老美的F15.....人家現在搞到F22啦。有甚麼州際導彈，我又想知佢易唔易被欄截。
SHOW下D刀刀劍劍當然可以一慰憤青之心，但現代戰爭，重點往往不在於個別武備的優劣，而是在於資訊、作戰系統，這是美國的本事，其作戰系統超強，能事先洞察對方所有步署，中國又得唔得？
中國一時講甚麼軟實力，一時又SHOWS先進軍備。實情可能是軟時無實力，硬又硬唔起。
有無展示廿年前六四果部坦克呀?
